Description

Travel through the heart of Morocco through Moroccan culture, language, food and historical sites. Hike through the scenic landscapes and traditional villages of the Atlas Mountains. For many, the dream of Morocco is camel trekking, strolling through the dramatic red dunes of the Sahara and camping under the stars of North Africa. Take a guided tour of Marrakech’s vibrant medina and join an evening carnival of fortune tellers, dancers and apothecaries in its lively squares you will end up in Marrakech for the departure.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech “Arrival to Morocco”

Up arrival at Marrakech our driver will transfer you to your hotel or Riad to take some rest. In the evening you will take with our driver and guide, who speak your language, an orientation tour until coming at Djemaa El Fna where you will be amazed by the dancers, snake-charmers and narrators. Dinner and overnight at your hotel/Riad.

Day 2 : Marrakech “ Walking Medina Guided Tour”

After breakfast, you will have full day tour to visit Marrakech. The visit will include: the Menara gardens, a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, the museum of Dar Si Said with the best display of Berber arts and crafts, and the Bahia Palace…lunch will be in local restaurant, after that we walk through the colorful Souks of Marrakech. The day will concluded with a sunset drink overlooking the Jamaa El Fna square, Diner with spectacle in nice restaurant.overnight in the Hotel/Riad.

Day 3 : Marraakech / Ourika / Marrakech

Departure from the Hotel towards a ourika valley A beautiful drive takes you to the foot of the Atlas where you will discover the small villages of mud, red hanging on the sides of the mountain, terraced agriculture, and the banks of the river fresh. You’ll visit a Berber house to explore their lifestyle, simplicity of equipment and have an idea on privacy Berber, then you will assist in the preparation of mint tea and enjoy with family. Diner and overnight in the Hotel/Riad.

Day 4 : Marraakech / Casablanca / Rabat

After Breakfast Depart Towards Rabat, we will Stop in Casablanca for Lunch & to visit Hassan II Mosque. As it is the second largest mosque in the world and indeed a beautiful work of art, it is one of the rare mosques opened to non-Muslims, we continue to Rabat; the capital politics of morocco, overlooks the sea, we will see the crenellated red ocher walls, more than 5 km long in total and built in the period of ruling the sultan yacoub el-mansour, we will visit the Kasbah of the udayas, erected by a terrible tribe of predators in the twelfth centry. then we visit Hassan tower, where 4 facades are decorated different from each other, three in shades of pink and one in the gray because of the sea breeze, the remains of the old mosque and the Mohamed 5 mausoleum next to the tower, a masterpiece of Moroccan traditional architecture, full of valuable materials from around the world and splendid decorations. from there you will return to the new town to see the royal palace, residence of king the merinide dynasty, Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel / Riad.

Day 5 : Rabat / Chefchaouen

After Breakfast, you will depart Towards Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco in the Rif Mountains. On route, you will See small villages along the route to chefchaouen. You will have a visit to this “cool” blue town, tucked away in the mountains. You will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Rif Mountains. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel/Riad.
Note : if you want to Add one Day in Chefchaouen to Relax is Possible.

Day 6 : Chefchaouen / Volubilis / Meknes

After breakfast, you will Have a Half Day to Explore Chefchaouen More & to Relax ,Depart Towards Meknes, we will Stop to visit volubilis; the roman ruins, explore the 2000-year-old ruins, we will stop small visit to MoulayIdriss, we continue to Towards Meknes, one of the Imperial Cities, Dinner& Overnight in the Riad.

Day 7 : Meknes / Fez

After Breakfast we will start a Visit to Meknes, The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. It then exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art “Dar Jamai” offers a wide variety of handicrafts, we Continue to Fez, Dinner & Overnight in The Riad /Hotel.

Day 8 : Fez “Guided Tour”

After Breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. you will visit Mosques including the Quaraouiyine Mosque founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri and the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860. Entry is not permitted to non-Muslims, Fountains including the Nejjarinefountain, Medersas (Koranic schools) founded as early as the 13th century ,Batha Palace now a museum of arts and traditions,Chouwara Tanneries, Souks including Souk Attarine, one of the liveliest in the city, Bab Boujloud with its green and blue ceramics, Mellah and the 17th century IbnDanansynagogue, also the Kings Palace, Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9 : Fez / Ifran / Medilt / Merzouga

Depart early from fez you will begin your ascent We pass through Ifrane, a winter ski resort in a totally un Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930’s to resemble a Swiss village;we visit the cedars forest in azrou you will see the monkeys, drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks, then we continue towards merzouga in the road we will stop in a panoramic views to see the a huge oasis of palm tree we reach to merzouga in the afternoon, Dinner with Saharan music and Overnight in Traditional Kasbah.

Day 10 : Merzouga / Full Day Adventure / Erg Chebbi

After breakfast you can relax in the hotel swimming pool. Then we will take a tour of approximately 3 hours in the Desert to see the different faces of the Desert, passing through small villages, oasis, Lake. we will stop to listen to some Saharan Music in el khamila,we will visit Berber family in their tent for a mint tea, We will Have a small visit in Rissani the first capital of Alaouite dynasty we take the way back to the Desert. after Rest we will start off by Camel into the Erg Chebbi Dunes for an incredible and unforgettable night in a Berber tent where we will have dinner Accompanied by the rhythm of drums overnight in the Berber Tent.

Day 11 : Merzouga / Gorges Todra / Gorge Dades

After a special Berber breakfast, You’ll depart towards gorge dades, traveling the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs that rise up like turreted sand castles along this ancient caravan trading route.
The central region is one of the most exciting and romantic destinations of Morocco nestled along rich river valleys, palmeries and burnished mud-brick homes ablaze in vibrant color under the shelter of the blue desert sky. We’ll travel through the ziz Valley past dramatic escarpments and plunging gorges via Tinghir. We’ll stop for a lunch at a local restaurant in the villageafter a walk in gorge todra we will contunie towards a dades gorge, Dinner & overnight in the Hotel.

Day 12 : Gorges / Ouarzazate/ Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou / Marrakech

After breakfast you will have a walk to explore the dades gorge then you continue to ouarzazate we will have a visit to Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios movie studios, the largest and most famous of all Africa. From here we head to the Fint Oasis, near Ouarzazate.we stop in ait ben haddou we will arrive in time of lunch. Here we can visit the famous Kasbah, declared UNESCO World Heritage and which was the scene of films like The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, we coutinue passing through the High Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, along a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260 m above sea level passing through small villages, small waterfalls, through the continuously changing landscape and colors of these beautiful mountains. We reach Marrakech in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the Riad /Hotel.
