Itinerary
Day 1: Airport Arrival to Marrakech
Upon your arrival at Marrakech-Menara Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your private driver and transferred to your elegant riad. After settling in, begin your Moroccan adventure with an orientation tour, starting with the enchanting Majorelle Gardens. As evening descends, immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere of Djemaa El Fna, the city's main square, alive with storytellers, dancers, and snake-charmers.
Day 2: Marrakech Guided tour
Today is dedicated to a full exploration of Marrakech's treasures. Your expert guide will lead you through the serene Menara gardens, to the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, and into the historic Saadian Tombs. Discover priceless Berber arts at the Dar Si Said museum and admire the intricate beauty of the Bahia Palace. After a traditional lunch, lose yourself in the vibrant, colourful souks before enjoying a sunset drink overlooking the lively Djemaa El Fna square, followed by dinner and a show.
Day 3: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou
Departing from Marrakech, we journey into the magnificent High Atlas Mountains. Our route takes us over the dramatic Tizi-n-Tichka pass, ascending to an altitude of 2,260 meters and offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and Berber villages. After a refreshing mint tea break, we descend to the legendary Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site, a backdrop for numerous epic films awaits your exploration, before we settle in for dinner at our hotel.
Day 4: Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Merzouga
Our day begins with a visit to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, where you can see the famous Atlas Film Studios. We then travel the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" and through the beautiful Valley of Roses, arriving at the spectacular Todra Gorges for a walk and lunch. The journey continues to Merzouga, where you will trade your vehicle for a camel and trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to your Berber desert camp for an unforgettable evening under a canopy of stars.
Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Midelt - Ifrane - Fez
Wake early to witness a magnificent Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we travel back by camel and continue our journey towards Fez. Our first stop is the town of Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, to explore its traditional market. We travel through the scenic Ziz Valley and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas mountains, with a lunch stop in Midelt. A brief visit to Ifrane, known for its European style architecture offers a final picturesque moment before we arrive in Fez and check into your hotel.
Day 6: Fez Guided tour
Immerse yourself in the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco with a guided tour of the Fez medina. This ancient, walled city is a labyrinth of narrow streets, bustling souks, and historic landmarks. Your tour will include views of the Quaraouiyine and Andalusian Mosques, the Nejjarine fountain, medieval Medersas, and the famous Chouwara Tanneries. You will also visit the Batha Palace, Bab Boujloud, and the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter) before returning to your hotel.
Day 7: Fez - Chefchaouen
Today, we journey from Fez into the Rif Mountains to discover the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen. With its blue-washed walls and picturesque streets, this city is a photographer's paradise. You will have approximately three hours of free time to explore the medina at your own pace. Discover the main square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, visit the 18th-century kasbah museum, or simply relax in a local café before settling in for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
After breakfast, we depart for Casablanca. En route, we will stop in Rabat, Morocco's political capital. Here, we will explore the city's key sights, including the impressive Hassan Tower, the elegant Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the historic red-ochre walls of the Udayas Kasbah. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Casablanca, where you will check into your hotel for dinner and your final night.
Day 9: Airport Transfer
On your final morning, you will visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world, uniquely open to non-Muslim visitors. Afterwards, depending on your flight schedule, your driver will transfer you to Mohammed V International Airport for your departure.
