Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Marrakech Airport, our professional driver will provide a seamless transfer to your designated hotel or Riad, allowing you to settle in and unwind. In the evening, accompanied by our knowledgeable driver and guide, who will converse in your preferred language, you will embark on an orientation tour of Marrakech. This introductory experience will culminate at the iconic Djemaa El Fna square, where you will be mesmerized by the vibrant spectacle of dancers, skilled snake-charmers, and captivating storytellers. Your first day in Morocco will conclude with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel or Riad.
Your journey into Morocco's diverse landscapes begins after breakfast, as we depart towards the majestic High Atlas Mountains. We will traverse the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, a road that gracefully ascends from the plains to an elevation of 2260 meters above sea level, revealing a continuously changing panorama of picturesque small villages, enchanting waterfalls, and vibrant mountain colors. A pause at the pass offers an opportunity to savor mint tea and admire the breathtaking scenery before we continue our descent towards the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We will arrive here in time for lunch. This famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, invites exploration and has served as a stunning backdrop for numerous international films, including "The Gladiator," "Babel," and "Lawrence of Arabia." Subsequently, our route takes us through Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses, and into the dramatic Dades Valley. We will reach the Dades Gorge in time for sunset, settling into a traditional and charming hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Following breakfast this morning, you have the option to take a leisurely walk through the Dades Gorges, appreciating its unique geological formations. Our journey then continues along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," a picturesque route that leads us through Tineghir village and the historic Jewish Kasbah. We will arrive at the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges in time for lunch, offering another opportunity for a captivating walk within the towering canyon walls. After this immersive experience, we will take the road towards the Merzouga desert, passing through Erfoud. Upon reaching Merzouga, and after a brief rest and a welcoming glass of mint tea, your true desert adventure begins. Your guide and camels will be ready to transport you across the endless sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will be enchanted by the beauty of the sunset from atop your camel. After approximately 1 hour, you will arrive at your secluded desert camp, where you will spend a magical night in a traditional Berber tent. Your camels will be hobbled, and after a wonderful dinner, you can enjoy stargazing under the clear desert sky. Overnight accommodation will be in your Berber tent.
Rise early this morning to experience the breathtaking spectacle of a desert sunrise, walking over the sand dunes to witness the sun emerge. Following this awe-inspiring moment, we will return by camel to your hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast, allowing for a moment of relaxation. Our journey then resumes towards Ouarzazate, taking a different route that traverses the captivating Nkob village and the verdant Draa Valley. We will pause for tea and a visit in Agdz before continuing our drive to Ouarzazate. Here, we will spend the night in a beautiful Riad, complete with a refreshing pool, providing a perfect respite after a day of exploration. Dinner and overnight accommodation are included.
After breakfast, our exploration of Ouarzazate includes a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and the renowned Atlas Studios movie studios, recognized as the largest and most famous in all of Africa. Subsequently, we will depart towards Agadir, embarking on a picturesque journey that passes through several charming small villages and historical Kasbahs. We will make a stop to visit the fortified town of Taroudant. Continuing our scenic drive through the mountains, we will reach Agadir in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at your hotel in Agadir.
